Clay and Pottery Program

In this creative and hands-on program, students will acquire essential knowledge and skills in clay, with an introduction to both sculptural and functional pottery. Throughout the course, students will explore the basics of working with clay, creating both artistic sculptures and practical pottery pieces.

Program Focus:

• Sculptural and Functional Pottery: Students will learn to create both decorative sculptures and functional pottery items such as bowls, cups, and plates.
• Ceramic Techniques: Introduction to various techniques such as shaping, molding, and glazing to bring their creations to life.
• Proper Use of Tools: Students will be taught how to use ceramic tools safely and effectively, enhancing their ability to work with clay.

This program offers a fun and engaging way for students to explore their creativity while learning the fundamentals of working with clay and pottery. By the end, students will have developed both technical and artistic skills that will help them continue to grow in their artistic endeavors.
