Art

Let's get creative! 

Art club will be a space filled with learning and excitement! We will do an assortment of projects based on artists you may or may not know, learn new skills and techniques, and hone in on our ability to create. Students will be encouraged to explore and share their ideas in a colorful and uplifting environment. We will start by building up our drawing skills, and then progress through the mediums into painting. This club will provide an extra dose of imagination and hopefully a sprinkle of sunshine for your child each week, I cannot wait to see them there!

Ms. Megan Martin is the lower school (K-4) Art Teacher here at Donna Klein Jewish Academy. She holds a degree in Art History and has a deep passion for art education. Before she came to Donna Klein, she instructed Art Appreciation courses at the University of Florida and was a Museum Educator and Studio Artist at the Miami Children's Museum. When she is not in the classroom coming up with exciting projects or teaching, she is usually found making her own artwork (or reading a good book with her cat).
